Should we really be spending our hard earned money on everything that we are? Not only that, but stop spending the money we don't have.

Just last week I saw where the house has approved giving unlimited aid to a foreign government. We can't afford the foreign aid we give today. Let me get this right. We can't afford it, so we are effectively borrowing money from China. Then we give that money to other countries and expect our tax payers to pay it back.

We are living beyond our means as a country and giving money away. Living on credit is the short path to defaulting on our debt.

Someone needs to realistically calculate when the country will default. That is a very real event in our future if we stay on our current path. Treat that as a wake up call and don't say it cannot happen.
