My to-do list consists of Congress stopping the dog and pony show, trying to make the American public think they are doing something. Stop subsidies to oil companies. Stop subsidies to gentlemen farmers, many who are among your numbers. Increase taxes on the ultra rich as Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and Stephen King have asked. Since many of your co-horts are among the ultra rich, they should be easy to find. Decrease or at least keep interest rates the same on student loans. Make members of Congress, cabinet members, and the Presidents staff pay their taxes. Stop the gutting of our military and improve benefits. They served us and you, now it is time to serve them. Stop retirement benefits for any Congress person who has been convicted or censored for criminal activity or ethics violations. After leaving Congress, let former congressional members get their own insurance and if they have not put in at least 20 years, no full retirement benefits. Make members of Congress put in a 40 hour week, just like the rest of us. Members of Congress get paid like it was a job, it's time it was treated like a job. Get rid of earmarks, perks, and lobbyists presents. Repeal the healthcare bill. Healthcare should never be based on the age of the recipient. I personaly know 80 year olds who are healthier than some 20 year olds and contribute a lot more to society than the 20 year olds. And LAST, BUT NOT LEAST. STOP THE STUPID PARTYISM. If you can't, then look for something new to do.

This project is brought to you by Representative Lee Terry in the 2nd Congressional District of Nebraska.
