Health Care

Keep the health care law. Every person deserves affordable health care. I certainly would not want to have a friend or family member to be denied health care because number one, they canot afford it, two they had a pre-existing condition, or third, they go broke over health bills. It would actually be cheaper for everyone to have universal health care. If the health care bill is not implimented citizens of Nebraska and the US are left to the incompetent mercy of insurance companies who are out to only make a profit and do not care about the individual or the health of the general public. In addition, the health care bill has numerous provisions that will benefit the process of educating and training health care providers in the future to meet the needs of an aging baby boomers.

Voting against this bill for the 31st time serves no purpose unless you care not to be a congressman anymore. Voting for the bill is a moral and christian thing to do. Health care should not be a profit motivated comodity. Ask yourself, what would Jesus do if he was here today. He was always available for the ill and infirm.
